Hi Everyone!
She’s  baaaaacck!!!  Yes, folks, I’m back to work and     although I’m still recuperating from the surgery, I can do most of my job just no heavy stuff.  I want to thank all of you from the bottom to the top of my heart for all the cards, letters, phone calls & flowers from everyone!!  I think my husband was a little overwhelmed by all the attention………...I know I was!!  It makes a body feel so much better to know they are missed and I missed y’all a whole lot!!!…...so THANK YOU!!! 

        August is vacation month so there will be no blood    pressure check or Miracle Ear.  They return next month.

          Senior Power Day is Friday, August 6; the Senior Center will be open this year as I am not able to man the table this year at the high school.  The sign-up sheet for the lunch is in the lobby.

          The Senior Advisory Board Meeting has been changed to August 18……..same time, same place!

          I am trying to get a Grief Counseling Group going in the center.  If you are interested in participating in a group such as this, please let me know so I can see what the  interest level is.

          If August is as hot as July has been please remember the Senior Center is air-conditioned.  So PLEASE  come in and cool off if you do not have air-conditioning.  Also, stay hydrated with lots of water in this weather; this kind of heat is really, really hard on your body!!

          Donna Cook is getting together another Boat Trip since there was so much interest………….more info follows.
